Alan Curbishley Lined Up To Be New Hull City Manager

By Ollie Irish

“I don’t have to actually live in Hull though, right?”

Alan ‘Curbs’ Curbishley (not to be confused with Alan ‘Rapes’ Pardew) is set to replace Phil Brown as Hull City gaffer. So says Vital Hull, via BBC Radio Humberside.

Curbs faces a mammoth task in keeping Hull in the Premier League, but I think he’s the right man to pull a few key wins out of the hat, especially if he can get the best out of Jimmy Bullard and Jozy Altidore.

Agree/disagree/couldn’t care less?

Couldn’t care one iota – somebody has got to go down. Clubs can’t keep tearing up contracts half way though a season like this, especially ones like Hull where the severance cost is so damaging. Although if reports are to be believed, relegation will ruin them too.

Ho hum, the joys of the greatest league in the world.
