Never one to eschew a chance to throw the cat among the pigeons, QPR boss Harry Redknapp has questioned the story that Hoops’ striker Loic Remy failed his medical ahead of his £8.5million move to Liverpool.

The general consensus among the UK footballing media was that a heart issue had caused the French striker’s move to Liverpool to crash and burn. However. good old ‘Arry is having none of it, instead stating that something other than a health concern must have stalled the deal.  Intriguing stuff!

So he is a doctor as well as an accountant now….

Heart? My first thought was drugs. BR: “We’ve seen this before.” And as Redknapp states — the guy just played in the WC and has passed medicals several times. Don’t know if there’s a tox screen during these medicals, but that has to be it. Remy was probably just relaxing with the Brazilians, who can blame him?
