Official: Seattle Sounders Star DeAndre Yedlin Signs For Tottenham But Stays In MLS For One More Season

By Alan Duffy

A member of the USA’s squad in Brazil this summer where he made three sub appearances, right-back DeAndre Yedlin has signed a four-year contract with Tottenham.

The 21-year-old will stay with current club Seattle Sounders until the start of the 2015/16 Premier League season when he will join up with the Lilywhites.

The Seattle-born defender has been one of the Sounders’ star performers in MLS in recent seasons and will provide Spurs’ current right-full Kyle Walker with some competition in a year’s time. And let’s hope he brings some of his bizarre haircuts with him….

Sadly, DeAndre has turned his back on the crazy hairstyles that first got him such attention. I think he must be tired of forking over half his paycheck to his barber.

He’s just staying in MLS til January. Just going to finish this season with the Sounders.
