According to the The Guardian, both Arsenal and Tottenham have submitted inquiries as to the availability of Manchester City’s young centre-back Matija Nastasic.
Nastasic, 21, is thought to be available thought City are keen to sell the Serbian defender on a permanent deal in a bid to recoup as much of the £12million fee they splurged on him back in 2012 as possible.
Arsenal and Spurs, however, are keen to take him on an uber-fashionable season-long loan deal.
The Guardian also add that, with Arsenal being a “perceived title rival”, it may be that City would prefer for Nastasic to toddle off to Tottenham.
Zing!
