With Mohamed Elneny signing for Arsenal earlier this afternoon, we thought it only right that we learn a little about the Premier League’s newest Egyptian import.
Among all the facts, figures and statistics came an interesting snippet from a Guardian profile, which revealed that during his time in Basel, Elneny lived in a tall resedential tower building that was part of the stadium complex at St Jakob-Park.
As such, his apartment directly overlooked his office with his morning commute basically consisting of having to take the lift down a couple of floors.
Brilliantly, the chaps at Sports Witness managed to dig out a photo of Elneny’s view..

Shame that he never got to take in a game really, seeing as though he tended to be playing in them and all.
