Pablo Zabaleta has reportedly agreed to join West Ham following his release by Man City after nine years at the coalface.
With Pep Guardiola planning a mass overhaul of his City defence this summer, Zabaleta’s contract was allowed to dwindle along with those of fellow veteran full-backs Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna, who both left the club earlier this week.
And so, according to Sky Sports News, the 32-year-old Argentinian has now struck a two-year deal to join the Hammers…

The transfer will go through when Zabaleta’s City contract runs out on June 30th.
Cracking signing for West Ham, no? Hell of a defender, oodles of experience, plenty of tread left on the tires and a freebie deal too.
Marvellous.
