A member of the Italian squad which lifted the 2006 World Cup, Crisitian Zaccardo has taken to LinkedIn in search of a new club.

The wing-back appeared for Serie B side Vicenza last season, with the team ultimately relegated at the end of the campaign.

Now, the 35-year-old has posted a come-and-get-me message on LinkedIn, in the hope of securing a new team ahead of the new season.

Here’s the post, which is in both Italian and English:

Not a bad CV, is it!

Zaccardo played for a whole host of big clubs, including Wolfsburg, Parma and Milan.

However, the high point of his career was undoubtedly the 2006 World Cup, which saw him make three appearances in Italy’s victorious campaign. Although, he did score an own-goal in the Azzurri’s second game against the USA.

There he is, second from the left, with the World Cup.

And sure he’s a “serious and professional soccer player and strong..!!!”. Surely he deserves another club!
