Marko Arnautovic is set to join West Ham after the Hammers agreed a fee, reported to be around £24m, with Stoke for the Austrian forward.

West Ham have been pushing to sign the muscular 28-year-old all summer, but have already seen two bids rejected by Stoke.

However, now, the former FC Twente, Internazionale and Werder Bremen attacker is headed for east London.

Arnautovic joined Stoke, from Bremen, four years ago, netting 22 goals in 125 Premier League games with the Potters.

The Austrian will now follow Joe Hart to London Stadium, after the Man City ‘keeper agreed a one-year loan deal with the Hammers.

Despite finishing 11th in the table last season, West Ham fans will be hoping for a more consistent 2017/18, with manager Slaven Bilic no doubt hoping his new recruits can kickstart the club’s fortunes.
