Outstanding: La Liga Simply Refuse To Accept Payment From PSG To Prevent (Or At Least Stall) Neymar Leaving Barcelona

Neymar’s imminent £198million move from Barcelona to PSG has hit a very minor, minor snag in that La Liga are flat-out refusing to accept the Ligue 1 club’s payment.

La Liga are protesting against PSG exploiting what they have called “financial doping” to purloin one of their biggest stars, blocking the payment on the grounds that it violates UEFA Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules and it just isn’t bloody fair.

That sound you hear is the unmistakable whine of snivelling hypocrisy.

La Liga issued a statement confirming that five lawyers representing Neymar arrived at their headquarters in Madrid on Thursday morning with a bank document – effectively a cheque from PSG to activate the Barca striker’s release clause.

However, the Spanish officials turned them away just 25 minutes later, as Barca continue to rail against UEFA for allowing state-owned clubs (PSG) to dictate the market.

Basically, it’s all fine and dandy when Barca and Real Madrid can cherry-pick their players from hither and thither (and hold a vast monopoly over domestic television broadcast money, etc, between them) but it’s illegal and fundamentally damaging to football when anybody else attempts to do likewise.

Need we remind you that Barca reportedly circumvented several UEFA rules, evaded taxes, moved money around, snuffed out interest from other clubs, made illicit payments and provided a wide array of illicit kick-backs for his agent (his father) when they signed Neymar from Santos in the first place?

Seriously, f**k everybody involved in this hideous transfer.

This is absolutely idiotic. Thinking that barca has anything to do with stopping the move. We make five times the money of a player we discovered and brought into the limelight, he may be the best player after Messi but that still doesn’t make him better than an entire team of world-class players, excluding those that the absolutely ridiculous transfer figure will bring. Maybe Neymar’s void can’t be filled with one world class player but this is enough money to buy all top 11 transfers in the transfer market YET. So no Javier Treblas and his hypocrisy are all his own. Don’t drag Barca through the mud.

Lets have it right. Neymar had played over 100 senior games for Santos and won everything on offer in S. America. It is not like he was plucked from obscurity.

Barca paid an at-the-time ridiculous sum themselves for Neymar in 2013, amid allegations of massive illegal state aid from the Spanish government. And Barca only started bitching about financial fair play in 2016, once they no longer had a pot to piss in. They still had all those illegally-tapped up youngsters as well, that they got a year long transfer ban for. Hypocrisy

The question here is: Is there any comprehensible difference between 110 and 220 million euros? Barca and the like are and have always been a total pile of fraudulent shit for brains in terms of their corporate policies. Imo there is no accurate reason to freak out on them right now when they’re just going down the line of capitalistic fuckwitism. I mean, It’s always been tolerated by all of us somehow, no?.

Hey Pies, you seriously need to chill out a bit! I would recommend listening to Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA and move your hips “like yeah”, if you are not really interested in turning your backs on professional football. The problem will not be solved if we keep on throwing money at them bastards. It will just keep on growing to a point where it fully divides society, excluding the poor from the joy of the “beautiful” game.
Then again, it is a FUCKING addicition I probably won’t get over anytime soon. Maybe I’ll stop buying shirts at CFS or something

Two crazies commented – one too dumb to support his own argument about how Barcelona isn’t involved in crooked financial operations and stupid enough to think Neymar wasn’t in the limelight before Barcelona. The other looks at football as some sort of addiction/Orwellian societal control system. It’s a shame nobody decent comments to shut these fuckers up, but that’s because the decent people are actually digesting the things they read. Thanks for the content though Chris.

To clear some of the criticized points up:

      1) Sorry for the inappropriate language.
      2) I was talking about my personal addiction to football, and was not generally accusing everyone of being addicted. I am the addict.
      3) I wasn’t at all illustrating a picture of Orwellian control, just not true.
      4) We should not bring in ethics and raise the warning finger as long as we are not willing to change our very own consumption behavior concerning professional football.
      5) Be, unlike me, a good example, and display some decency yourself.
