The Arsenal boss is reportedly the Catalan giants’ first choice to replace Rijkaard; reports in France last week said Wenger had a secret meeting with Barca director Feran Soriano in Paris.
There’s probably about 5% truth in this story, but that’s still enough for us to believe that it could happen. I very much doubt it, but you can’t argue with the fact that Wenger is coveted by the top clubs in Europe, or that his arrival at the Camp Nou would pave the way for the arrival of Thierry Henry too. That said, I fully expect Rijkaard to keep his job for next season.
