Samir Nasri’s time at Man City is now officially at an end, just one or perhaps two years later than the cord should have been cut.

After six long, eventful years at City, the last of which was spent on loan Sevilla, Nasri has moved on by signing a two-year deal with Turkish side Antalyaspor…

While City won’t get anything up front, there may be a smidgen of money in the deal for them, with the terms of Nasri’s new contract entitling the Premier League side to a potential windfall of around £3.2million should the inconsistent French midfielder tick off certain performance clauses.

The man himself signed off with a three-part tweet, thanking his City colleagues for their support (and patience) over the years…

Phew. That’s the most effort he’s put into anything in quite a while.

Best get the Drip Doctors on the phone, pronto.
