DaMarcus Beasley Announces Rangers Exit Via Twitter
By Chris Wright
“They’re here!”
Rangers midfielder DaMarcus Beasley has confirmed via his Twitter account that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Though the Glasgow club won the Scottish Premier League title again this year, Beasley played a very minimal part in the Ger’s success – having only made six league appearances due to ongoing injury and fitness problems.
The American winger confirmed his plans to leave Ibrox with a ‘tweet’ that read;
“Yes, I’m leaving. Will never forget my time at Rangers! Thanks for all the messages from the best fans in the world.”
Beasley will now join up with the U.S. national team at a training camp later this month, in a bid to prove his fitness for inclusion in their final World Cup squad.
