Everton managed to pull off a decent signing right as the transfer window came to a close by securing the services of Eliaquim Mangala on a six-month loan from Man City.
After just about sneaking the relevant paperwork through in time, the Toffees were able to unveil their new left-sided centre-back after gone midnight.

As things stand, Everton are still waiting on official clearance, but the club are hoping that the French international – once the most expensive defender in the Premier League – will be available for Saturday’s trip to Arsenal.
