Cardiff striker Steven Thompson knackers his groin in banana boat mishap
Scotland and Cardiff striker Steven Thompson is facing up to six months on the sidelines after falling off a banana boat while on holiday. The 28-year-old former Rangers striker had an operation yesterday after the incident in the USA.
***EYE-WATERING QUOTE ALERT***
Thompson said: “The groin muscle ripped right off the bone. It is no secret that Cardiff were trying to sell me and it has pretty much put that on hold until January. The manager hit the roof.” Ouch! So if all swimmers off the US coast would keep an eye open for Steven Thompson’s groin muscle, I’m sure he’d appreciate it.
