The human bodge is about to get the heck out of Dodge with news that Loris Karius has all but completed a two-year loan move to anywhere but Liverpool.
According to several well-placed sources, Karius is on the cusp of joining Besiktas in a transfer that could well be made official before close of play on Monday evening…

In reality, it’s not that Karius’ position at Anfield had become untenable since his gaffe-tastic revue began during the Champions League final – more that everybody has just been perched on the tenterest of hooks ever since, waiting for the next mistake to come.
It could have taken days, weeks, months, but when it did arrive, the inevitable haranguing would simply undermine any intervening period spent gradually and delicately rebuilding a gossamer-thin confidence. Rightly or wrongly, he’s better off out of it – at least for the time being.
Here’s wishing Karius the stability and success he needs in Turkey to get himself back on track.
