Tottenham Boss Harry Redknapp: ‘Joe Cole Has Already Signed For Someone Else’

By Chris Wright

I’ll leave you to make up your own jokes

Tottenham manager and master sh*t-stirrer Harry Redknapp has admitted that would be interested in signing Chelsea contract rebel Joe Cole, but he believes the England winger has already agreed a deal with another club.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Redknapp revealed;

“I am a big fan of his but the feedback we’ve got is that he’s already signed for somebody else, I’ve got a feeling he may have agreed a deal with somebody.

Certainly in the summer someone is going to make a very good free signing if he doesn’t stay at Chelsea.

I don’t think it’s going to be Tottenham that sign him but if he hasn’t agreed a deal with somebody and he doesn’t stay at Chelsea then we would be interested.”

So, there we go.

Personally, it seems to me like Old ‘Arry is pulling his “I can’t talk about him because he belongs to another club, but…” shtick again, but if Joe Cole has agreed a deal with a club other than Spurs, who do you think it will turn out to be?

If pushed, my money would be on Manchester City – although the fact that Cole apparently wants to remain in-or-around the London area may dictate otherwise.
