Liverpool’s Yossi Benayoun Joins Chelsea
By Chris Wright
The word on Pies Street is that Yossi Benayoun will officially complete his £5.5 million move to Chelsea this very afternoon, after new Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson green-lighted the Israeli’s exit last night.
Benayoun is now expected to put pen to paper on a four-year, £55,000-a-week contract at Stamford Bridge at some point during the next 24 hours.
If it doesn’t happen, feel free to shoot the messenger!
UPDATE: The deal has now indeed gone through as expected. Yossi Benayoun is officially a Chelsea player after signing on a three-year deal.
