Wigan’s liabilty-on-legs Titus Bramble is undergoing a medical at Sunderland this morning, after the Latic’s accepted a £750,000 bid for the 28-year-old centre-back.
Bramble’s personal terms are yet to be discussed, but talks are ongoing and, provided he passes his routine medical, the former Newcastle United man could fly out tomorrow to join up with the rest of The Black Cats squad – who are currently in Portugal for a pre-season training camp.
Sunderland manager Steve Bruce is also waiting on an definitive answer from veteran defender Sol Campbell (who is currently away on his honeymoon), after positive initial talks between the two parties were held last week.
Bramble and Campbell? Really?
