Titus Bramble Joins Sunderland, Wearside Sighs As One
By Chris Wright
Sunderland have completed the signing of Titus Bramble from Wigan on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee, thought to be somewhere in the region of £750,000 (rising to £1 million, based on performance-based clauses).
Manager Steve Bruce told the club’s official website;
“Titus was absolutely outstanding for me at Wigan. He matured into a very, very good player so there was absolutely no hesitation when the chance came to bring him to Sunderland.
He was certainly the right player at the right price and this is a great deal for the football club.”
Yes Sun’lan’ fans, it really is this Titus Bramble that we’re talking about here…
…Good luck!

To be fair to Bramble, 95% of the time he’s good. Very good, sometimes. It’s that 5% where he makes monumental fuck-ups that’s the problem.

Bramble has improved no end and it is very lazy journalism to slag him off these days.
Players who are error prone when young can develop into fine defenders. Prime example- Richard Dunne- used to make regular cock ups but has now matured into one of the best defenders in the Premier League.
A metaphor is like a simile.
