Most ridiculous football rumour of the day, without doubt, is the Daily Express’s story that Avram Grant wants to buy Kaka from AC Milan, ‘even if it costs him £100 million’. The Express’s ‘source’ (some bloke down a pub in Fulham, perhaps?) said: ‘Kaka is certainly a long-term target, and if there is any chance of getting him then Avram will try to make it happen. Avram likes Kaka very much and has told Abramovich he is a good investment, even at £100m.’
Ha! What bullpoo. I’m done with the non-stop torrent of sensational ‘Big club may buy big player for big money!!!’ stories. They fill the back pages, but are completely worthless. If Kaka goes to Stamford Bridge any time in the next couple of season, I’ll eat my hat; if he goes for £100m, I’ll also eat my coat and shoes.
And anyway, Kaka belongs to Jesus, and Jesus can’t be bought.

Much like the mascot stories in here today, it just reeks of journos padding out the pages.

How dare you Clayton! How can you not love the mascot videos? No padding there.

    Hats! Again!?
    Ollie?

As long as Milan are one of the best teams in europe Kaka will stay put. The only english club suited to his style of play is the Arse, but in order to attract superstars they need start winning trophies, especially the champions league. After the whole Schevchenko disaster I’d be surprised to see anyone of the caliber of Kaka to arrive at stamford bridge for a good few years. It’s best just to ignore these silly tales from the tabs.

Who comes up with this stuff?? I’m still waiting for Zidane to join the Galaxy :(
I hope you’ll post a youtube video of your hat meal if it turns out you’re wrong.
Wow, that Kaka belongs to jesus post got a lot of responses from “regulars”… Is there some jesus fan club that scours the blogosphere looking for this stuff?
