Sky Sports’ Clare Tomlinson signed off work after Stephen Bywater says the C word live on air

Sky’s Clare Tomlinson, one of the better female football broadcasters in the country, has been signed off work on medical grounds for an expected two months due to stress and depression.
Just so we’re clear, and Sky’s lawyers don’t come-a-knocking, it’ been made clear that Tomlinson had not been disciplined for her part in the infamous Stephen Bywater C-word incident – the Derby keeper said c**t live on air during a recent episode of Goals on Sunday, but Tomlinson made no apology at the time.
I have looked online for a video of the incident, but without luck. If any of you have a link to it, please let me know, cause I’d love to see it – for serious research, you understand.

   Morning. I read with interest your article about Claire Tomlinson and her absesence from work.
   I had the pleasure of seeing her present at the PFA awards last year and she’s a great presenter…which makes this current situation all very odd…here’s hoping she’s fit and well and back at work again soon! ;-)

   What is happening here?
   Claire T is a terrific professional who has been reprimanded for the profane mouthing of a wally.
   Whoever invited this schmuk onto the set should be penalised and not this very vibrant lady.

   What show are we talking about here? How many people were shocked by the utterance?
   The Murdoch empire is responsible for more putrifaction and drivel than any other. Sky should catch themselves on.
