Stoke City Rule Out Move For Peter Crouch
Peter Crouch – Half man, half Ent
STOKE City manager Tony Pulis has rejected speculation this morning that he was preparing an offer for Tottenham striker Peter Crouch, insisting that the club would not be willing to break the bank to strike such a deal.
When asked as to whether he was considering an approach for the England international, Pulis told Sky Sports News;
“No, we wouldn’t be able to afford Peter Crouch.”
To. The. Point.
In other Stoke news, amber-hued striker Dave Kitson is close to agreeing a six-month loan move to Championship side Portsmouth.
