Chelsea keeper Petr ‘Tangoman’ Cech is certain that Chelsea will lift the Premier League trophy this weekend thanks to the colour orange. Cech’s new goalkeeping kit is orange The 26-year-old has turned sports psychologist to claim that his new kit is scientifically proven to give him an edge.
He said: “Studies say the orange colour spreads the most when the striker attacks, in the split of a second as he focuses. This colour is like a sort of alarm or alert which really spreads and is very difficult to avoid, so this should be good for me.” If that’s true I hope Neville Southall avoided orange – there would have been none of the goal left to see if he had spread any more!
