You’d be forgiven that the following quotes were actually taken from 2007 (or ’08, or ’09 etc…), but I can assure you that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stayed true to stingy type by promising that the club will not be in hunt for new players come January 2011.

In an interview with Arsenal’s official website, Wenger spake thusly:

“My policy is to stick to the squad I have, we will not be on the market. I want to keep my squad and I want to continue with these players. We will not be on the market unless we lose some.”

Really Arsene? Really?
