Edin Dzeko Stranded At Heathrow As Man City Move Hits Snag
By Chris Wright
Having been teetering on the brink of completing his £27 million transfer to Manchester City for nearly a week now, Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko‘s protracted switch to Eastlands has reportedly hit another snag – a snag that left him stranded at Heathrow Airport for a good couple of hours.
According to this morning’s Sun, Dzeko reportedly produced the wrong kind of VISA when he touched down in Britain on Wednesday morning so, instead of travelling to Manchester to undergo his physical at Eastlands and then watch City’s game with Arsenal as planned, the Bosnian was made to wait until club officials managed to set up a ‘half-way house’ in Watford for the target man to finally undergo his medical – which he duly passed.
The red top also seem to have deduced that obtaining the correct VISA papers may take up to 28 days, which apparently puts the entire move in doubt as the transfer window closes in just 24.
Poor sod. Half a day in an airport followed by a grim day trip to England’s arsehole. Although, having sat through the City-Arsenal dirge myself, I’d wager that Mr Dzeko probably got off lightly.

To Chris Wright. Citeh will sign Dzeko and other great players, just wanted to let you know. Now get yourself back to the “swamp” were you belong.I just love all this concern for Citeh Ive not laughed as much in ages. Keep it coming.
I look forward to seeing him sit on the bench every week. I hear he does it even better than Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Jô & Balotelli.
i would luv to sit on citys bench :)
More green-eyed rags? If you ask nicely we’ll loan you Adebayor and Jo LOL. Thanks for keeping Rooney warm for us BTW.
Damn! I had bought a ticket for a match against Bayern Munich next Saturday just to see him! :@

City: His VISA might not arrive in time? Who can we buy that does those faster?
I’d probably produce the wrong papers too if I just watched my future team park the bus for a tie. Someone should tell him City is wear your dreams go to die and your paycheck skyrockets, simply because no one can afford you when you want to leave unless you prove you’re shit(Adebayor).
To Chris Wright, what did I tell you swampy, Dzeko signed. So much for your accurate tale, what do you do just make things up?
Welcome to Manchester Edin.
“grim trip to england’s arsehole”- thought he didnt make it to manchester?
