Birmingham Snap Up David Bentley On Loan
By Chris Wright
Pies presents: David Bentley‘s entire, two-and-a-half-year Tottenham career summed up in 17 seconds…
After contributing the sum total of (almost) diddly-squat to the Spurs cause during his 29 months at White Hart Lane, £15 million-man Bentley has finally left North London for pastures new – joining Birmingham City on loan until the end of the season after passing a medical at St Andrews on Tuesday.
A good move for all interested parties, I’d wager.

I must say that Birmingham have done well to secure Bentley on loan. I still rate him very highly despite his troubles at Tottenham. He was an ace at Blackburn. Hopefully he will flourish at Birmingham, just like Darrent Bent has done at Sunderland.
I agree with Ping Yang. But it’s still unknown how much time he needs to return to match fitness
I agree. Players like him are perfect for the bottom half of the table teams. He will be a star, so long as he is on one of those teams.
Spot on there, Ping Yang.
