After three seasons at the Lane, Didier Zokora is moving on. Spurs have accepted Sevilla’s £7m offer for the Ivorian midfielder, and as a Yiddo I have to say it’s a decent deal, for both parties.
Zokora never quite made good on the immense promise he showed at the 2006 World Cup, but he will be remembered fondly by most Tottenham fans. He could be infuriatingly inconsistent, and his shooting was nothing short of atrocious, but he generally gave his all and didn’t complain when he was dropped. Cheers Didier and good luck in Spain.
Are you happy to see the back of Zokora?
