  2. Gav says:

    @herp *limping

  3. Victor Meldrew says:

“Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Sar.”

    Released? Don’t you mean retired.

  4. Jh says:

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Garrido already transferred from City to Lazio last summer?

  5. Chris says:

@Jh: That’s what we (and Wikipedia) thought. May be something to do with the small print of his contract at City/Lazio, may just be a mistake.

@Victor Meldrew: According to the PA, they all count – and who are we to argue?

  6. gamblino says:

Craddock’s not been released. Extended by a year again.

  7. Chris says:

@gamblino: Not according to the official list that the Premier League themselves have just released…

  8. Matt Wills says:

Some of these retained lists are utter tripe. Garrido signed for Lazio last summer!

  9. gamblino says:

Yeah but me and Jody are TIGHT! ;) http://twitter.com/#!/MrJodyCraddock

  10. Newcassel says:

Expect Fat Bastard Ashley to be trawling for bargains through this lot
Just like the plebs in Sports Direct

  11. Bob The Builder says:

Gamblino and Craddock are tight??? Does that mean you share a bed… Stop being a cunt because The Premier League list is correct and if you where wondering the Chairman of The Premier League Sir Dave Richard’s his daughter and I are what Gamblino will call “TIGHT”

  12. KW says:

Surprised that Thomas Cruise was released. For a while, he was considered the next big thing–strange world, football.

  13. dnjs says:

That ” released XI” team would get relegated before boxing day!

  14. Balls-2-U says:

Relax boys, it’s just an end of season procedure whereby players whose contracts have not been extended/re-signed yet are put on a formal list just so everyone knows that they are not contracted and are free to move about. This from Soccernet’s Transfer Blog:

1231 BST After the released list we linked up earlier surprisingly featured Wolves defender Jody Craddock, the club have said on Twitter: “”Don’t read anything into inclusion of Jody Craddock on list of released players. Just procedure from league. He is being offered new deal.”

@KW: Don’t worry. Heard he’s got bigger things on his plate..like filming Mission Impossible 4. =P
