Ponferradina Player Asks Mourinho For His Vest After Final Whistle, Mourinho Doesn’t Disappoint (Video)

By Chris Wright

Real Madrid’s reserve string spanked third tier side SD Ponferradina 5-1 in the Copa del Rey last night, with Callejon (2), Sahin, Varane and Joselu sealing a fairly comprehensive 7-1 aggregate win for the La Liga leaders – but that didn’t dampen the spirits of Ponferradina right-back Dani Carril who, forgoing the tradition of swapping shirts with your opposite number, went straight to the top and asked Jose Mourinho for his gillet after the final whistle.

The best part? Mourinho, while looking slightly bemused, didn’t disappoint…

Mourinho: Simply the vest!

Sorry…so sorry.

Here’s the highlights to hopefully go some way to making up for that hideously lame pun…
