    Off topic, but how on earth has Flamengo managed to field a kit without a sponsor across the front? They have BMG on the shoulders and UNICEF on the upper chest and Mobil Super on the lower back and the ass of the shorts, but no “main” sponsor? Just seems very odd to me…

    @sloth – it is because (I understand) the club generates enough from shirt sales, pitch-side sponsorship and TV rights to see them through. Which is why, like Barcelona previously, they allow UNICEF space on the shirts.

    To be fair that ball just came off the woodwork and has got some serious ω. I know he’s supposed to be world class and all, but I’ll cut an aging legend some slack every once in a while.

    I like how the people doing the graphic about the distance to goal saw fit to render in a massive crowd in a great looking stadium, then it switches back to reality where there’s a greenhouse and some cranes behind goal.
