As you probably weren’t aware, Witton Albion downed Farsley in the play-off semi-final of the Evo-Stik NPL Division One North on Tuesday evening – winning 3-0 to put themselves within one game of returning to the Northern Premier League’s top tier for the first time in three years.

While that, in and of itself, is not really news to excite those outside of the Northwich area that hasn’t stopped a Witton fan by the name of Alex Miller from capturing all the subtle beauty of the game in a lovingly crafted film – all set to Elvis Presley’s stirring version of Walter Earl Brown’s MLK-inspired anthem ‘If I Can Dream’…

Cracking stuff from Alex Miller aka @xela3570.

Thanks Pies for putting my work up. I won’t bombared with it too much but next year I’ll do a lot more of this. I actually don’t support any club. This was my first ever trip to Witton. I didn’t even know what colours they played in until I arrived. I really appreciate you putting it on your brilliant blog. CHEERS AGAIN ;-)
