Hands up, we know nothing about this video other than we think it might be of Italian stock (aren’t Hellas Verona the ‘Gialloblu’?) if the commentary and advertising boards are anything to go by.
The only thing we do know for certain(ish) is that this all happened in the very last minute of the game
UPDATE: It is indeed Hellas Verona, in Serie B action against Ternana on Monday evening.
With his side 1-0 up in stoppage time up but severely under the cosh after being subjected to a constant barrage of Ternana attacks, Hellas ‘keeper Raphael eventually claims the ball from a corner – but instead of dropping on it and wasting time, the Brazilian custodian decides to storm up the field and play through striker Farias to seal the 2-0 victory in the third minute of injury time…
TALLY HO! Everbody loves a maverick goalkeeper!
Any further info would be gratefully received. Any o’ you punks out there know what’s cracking off?
