‘Twas Pep’s last game at the Nou Camp yesterday eve before he buggers off on his Gap Year, and the Barca fans gave him an emotional send-off during their 4-0 win over Espanyol – unfurling a huuuge banner before the game reading ‘T’ESTIMEM PEP!’, which loosely translates as ‘WE LOVE YOU!’ or ‘THANK YOU!’ or something along those lines…

The love spilled over into the game itself, with Lionel Messi running to give Pep a big hug after scoring his fourth goal of the game (his 50th La Liga goal and his 72nd of the season – thus breaking the all-time record of 70, set by Scotsman Archie Stark of Bethlehem Steel FC way back in 1924/25)…
So long Pep, thanks for all the fish.
