Ah, the delights of the Brazilian lower leagues! Here we see footage from Votuporanguense’s game against Fernandopolis, which erupted into a stupid, high-kicking, slap-swinging melee after the Fernandopolis ‘keeper was sent-off for upending his opposing striker.

12, count ’em, twelve red cards were shown during the ensuing flurry of violence, with several ribs and an arm being broken into the bargain…

Ten minutes later, after the two sides had finished thwacking the living bejesus out of each other, the referee formally sent off 11 more men and called the match there and then – allowing Votuporanguense’s 2-1 win to stand.

I thought five red cars per side forfeits the match? How the hell did he get up to twelve?

Tbh if you look closley @0:14 if the Defender in the blue kit (Number 5) running in is going to stamp (spinelessly) on the striker who is on the floor competlely defenceless, then feel the wrath of teammates who have seen that….Hopefully it’ll teach lowlifes who think they can John Terry/Pepe stamp on people without thinking people will see, to stop doing that……If you’re gonna dish it out, expect to kop it.
