With Manuel Neuer playing more and more like renegade sweeper ‘keeper Rene Higuita with every passing game at Euro 2012, it looks like Germany are preparing for the worst – with Thomas Müller playing in goal at training yesterday, pitting his shot-stopping prowess against some of Die Mannschaft’s most fearsome attacking entities – Mats Hummels, Sami Khedira and Neuer himself…
The more we see, the harder it becomes to not love Herr Müller. In the nicest way possible, he’s just a bit of gangly dork.
While we’re here, we don’t want to worry Arsenal fans but Lukas Podolski’s ‘shot’ at the 1:06 mark (the video counts down) is just about the worst we’ve ever seen. Ever.
