She may only be 11-years old, but that’s not going to be enough to stop us flagging up ‘aspiring singer/songwriter’ Harper Gruzin’s eardrum-rupturing rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner before the FC Dallas vs LA Galaxy game the other night.

Be warned, it’s definitely one to listen to while syringing molten lava into your auditory canals…

The lead line from Harper’s official website: “Harper’s captivating performances, soulful voice, and ability to write good music will eventually land her next in line to superstardom!”

Who could argue? She actually reminds us of a young Victoria Zarlenga.

Ouch. Bad relay from monitors? Shaky soundcheck? Bad case of nerves?

She’s up singing the national anthem, she must have good history and therefore a good excuse.

Which idiot decided to even put her on the pitch? It’s not her fault, she’s just a kid who has been told that she can sing very nicely.
