So tender

Meanwhile, over at Yankee Stadium, Real Madrid tore a few strips off AC Milan in a pre-season friendly last night – with Angel Di Maria, Cristiano Ronaldo (2), Sergio Ramos and Jose Callejon all netting for the Spaniards (with Kaka weighing in with three assists) and Robinho scoring Milan’s one and only.

Yes, it’s a friendly and not much stock should be placed in the result, no matter how resounding the tonking was – but Milan look gutted, eviscerated even. Something tells us it’s not going to be a vintage year for the Rossoneri next season.

  1. Richard says:

No names on the back of the kits of Real. Yankees do the same thing in baseball. Is that one game only or all year?

  2. Adam says:

@Richard: I’m pretty sure most teams don’t put names on their kits for most friendlies because of squad number changes etc

  3. Anabelle says:

Richard: They do the same thing with the Brazilian Men’s Football Team. According to the Coach, the names and numbers will only be assigned at the time of the World Cup (2014). For now, no player has yet secured his spot in the squad team.

Since this if off-season time for Real Madrid, I believe the same situation applies.
