Ahead of the Women’s U17 World Cup there was a wave of low-level consternation that the captain of the Nigerian side had pulled an ‘Obafemi Martins’ and was indeed about 30-years old, but it looks like the concerns should definitely be over the ‘keeper, Gift Andy, who let France midfielder Delphine Cascarino’s fearsomely struck 5mph penalty somehow dribble through her and in after the second round match between the two countries went to a shootout last night…

That name once again, GIFT Andy.

Christ almighty. We’d cry ‘match-fixing’ if we weren’t so indelibly sure that actually she’s just a bit rubbish.

Actually, the game was held on October 5th as quarterfinals.
Now France has gone though… the final.

seriously what is it with women that they just can’t play in goal. I watched Irelan v Germany womens match before and the German outfield players were very good physically and technically but their keeper was a shambles, flapping at and dropping everything. Don’t even talk to me about the Irish keeper

Womens football is a bit shit, isn’t it really?

  4. plops says:

Al, I concur. I’ve sen some decent outfield women footballers but the keepers are nearly always abysmal. Maybe it’s something to do with getting their clothes muddy, or hurting their tits when they dive and land on them. Yeah, probbly the tits one.

  5. Rob says:

Al, Plops, and Charles, are you Keys and Gray in disguise?

  6. Westie says:
