Remember Gabriel Muniz? The 11-year-old Brazilian lad born without feet who managed to play his way onto one of Barcelona’s regional youth summer training camps in Rio de Janeiro a while ago?
The story goes that young Gabe impressed Barca’s scouts so much in Rio that he was invited over to the club’s Joan Gamper training HQ to meet and kick a ball around with a gaggle of the first-team, including his very bestest hero in the whole wide world, Lionel Messi – even Eric Abidal puts in an appearance to meet the little guy (Gabriel that is, not Leo!)…
