Cristiano Ronaldo Suffers Grim Eye Injury vs Levante, Leaks Blood Everywhere, Still Scores (Video)
By Chris Wright
Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a pretty grim eye injury after getting boshed in the face by Levante defender David Navarro’s pointy bits during a rain-sodden game at the Cuitat de Valencia last night, with claret leaking all over his face from the gash – though that didn’t stop him scoring in the 21st minute, before being subbed off at half-time due to a loss of vision in both eyes…
Navarro was obviously suffering pangs of guilt over the injury and made amends by setting up Ronaldo’s goal, laying one on a plate for the Portuguese forward to open the scoring in Real’s 2-1 win…
How kind.
