Amazing footage here of a tornado tearing through the Southern Portuguese town of Silves and violently deconstructing the Estadio Dr. Francisco Vieira, home to local semi-pro side Silves FC…

The best part is, you just know that FC Tokyo and Vissel Kobe would be happy to play in those conditions.

    Being from tornado territory in the US, the fact that this kid is on an upper floor and next to a window during this is really really stupid.

    @Bryan

    In Europe houses are not made of cheese, mate.

    Is it me or the guy is holding a sandwich on a plate while recording?

    @Jesus – Funniest comment I’ve read on here for ages, well done. Having studied the thing on a plate a few time I am pleased to say I have no idea what it is. Maybe something like an empanada.

    good thing global warming is a conspiracy/myth, otherwise we might be seeing more of these extreme weather events… oh wait…

    Your ignorance shows sloth….

    Here in Portugal the worst Tornado in XX century was in 1954 in Castelo Branco. 5 deaths more than half city with heavy damage.Much bigger than this one.
    In 1941 a big tempest destroyed many houses in Sesimbra with dozen deaths.
