PSV Eindhoven lost their first game back after the Eredivisie’s winter break, going down 3-1 to little ol’ PEC Zwolle and it’s no surprise looking at the shocking ‘finishing’ on show.

Already 2-1 behind, PSV conspired to spluff three one-yard sitters in the space of a single second or so, with Tim Matavz, Dries Mortens and Jeremain Lens all somehow managing not to score when it seemed much easier to just hit the back of the Zwolle net and stop faffing about…

   it’s dries mertens, just so you know. it was a terrible game for psv, another lost season I guess. also strange seeing how I’m from Holland, and the video doesn’t play…

   I’m not religious, but well done by the Zwolle keeper for the completely appropriate sign of the cross just after the sequence.
