Football Video: Rene Higuita Recreates ‘Scorpion Kick’
By Ollie Irish

Rene Higuita recreated his famous Scorpion Kick in his final match as a pro, in his hometown of Medellin, Colombia – hey, that kick made his name, and will no doubt feature in the title of his autobigraphy. Rene also scored from a free-kick (he does this all the time) – or, more accurately, was allowed to score from a free-kick – as he retired at the grand age of 43. And yes, he still has very, very bad hair:
A bit limp and tired compared with the original.
