This Is How Second Tier Lebanese Football Deals With Unwanted Red Cards (Video)

By Chris Wright

Nani take note, this is how the Lebanese second division deals with unwarranted red cards. Having been shown a second yellow, the unidentified player in question charges at the referee, swinging punches and proceeds to chase the official around the pitch in a manner befitting the dubbing in of Yakety Sax.

To make matters worse, everyone in the stadium then begins chasing the referee around before he finally manages to make his escape without sustaining any serious injuries (we assume) while the gun-toting security staff stand there and watch…

We shouldn’t laugh really, it’s deplorable behaviour.

That’s plain disgusting. I hope that team receives a severe punishment.
