In which Mr Roma – Frankie “Il Gladiatore” Totti – pouts, muses and stares at things profoundly in a rather good, if a little arty farty, promo viral for the upcoming Derby della Capitale (Rome Derby) against dear local chums Lazio in the final of the Coppa Italia on 26th May.
The film is basically a parallel day in the life of Totti and a chap called Pepe, a hardcore Roma old boy, and the synergy between the two. Before this starts reading like the plastic bag scene from ‘American Beauty’, have a butcher’s for yourself…
It’s all part of Roma’s push to “build their brand” (*eww*) around the world, particularly in Asia, but it’s rather nice none-the-less.
