The German domestic season hasn’t technically finished yet (it culminates with the DFB-Pokal cup final on Saturday) but still the national team have embarked on a 10-game tour of America, though Jogi Loew has taken what can only be described as “Germany B” with him to Yankland.

Lukas Podolski and Lars Bender both scored twice in a 4-2 rout (Antonio Valencia and Walter Ayovi grabbing Ecuador’s consolation goals), with the Arsenal forward’s first goal coming after just nine seconds of the game had elapsed – thus making it the quickest goal of Poldi’s career to date…

There was also some extremely polite streaker action during the game for you to feast your eyes on – especially if you’re into hairy blokes in Y-fronts…

Yum yum.

It should send a shudder down the spines of England’s back room that Germany’s second string includes players with consistent top flight appearances: Bender, Draxler, Podoloski and Neustaedter, Zieler and the bench has Aaron Hunt, Philipp Wollscheid and Andre Schuerrle.

I think you will find that it is a two(2) game tour.
