Proof if proof were needed that there’s something a bit special in the water at La Masia, here’s 14-year-old Barca youth ‘keeper Inaki Pena putting in a (quite literally) match-winning performance against Atletico Madrid’s youth string in Sunday’s “Torneo Internacional infantil Reino de Leon” game.

With the match finishing goalless in normal time, penalties were ushered in, with Pena saving six of the nine spot-kicks he faced before stepping up to tuck away the winner past his opposite number…

Atleti’s keeper also put in a decent shift, saving three of the penalties he faced and watching two more miss the target but it was Pena that stole all the glory by nabbing the winner, with the shootout finishing 4-3 in Barca’s favour after a total of 18 penalties were taken.
