Not sure what the health & safety rules are in Sweden, but they certainly look rather flimsy. As tempers frayed in Stockholm after the local derby between Djurgården and AIK, fans from both sides squared up in a train station. However, with most of the fire-up supporters congregating on the escalators, the local police decided to speed up said escalators and fire the fans away from the flashpoint. Superb! Although, somehow, I can’t see this style of policing working on the London Underground, can you?
