We always assumed the ‘K’ in K-League simply stood for ‘Korea’, but it turns out that it actually stands for ‘Krazy Kranium Krunching’ – especially if the Busan IPark defence’s double-team assault on FC Seoul striker Mauricio Molina’s face this weekend is anything to go by.

With the ball lofted into the area, the Colombian forward took flight in an attempt to nod it past the Busan ‘keeper and centre-half – only to have his entire skull caved in by a two-pronged ‘headbutt and double-fisted punch to the face’ combo that left him sparko on his back for a several minutes…

Despite lying completely motionless and unresponsive on the turf for what seemed like an age as his wife and children fretted in the stands, Molina eventually came to and, after being taken home, was able to Tweet a message to the FC Seoul fans, telling them that he was “feeling fine” and that he was “relaxing at home pending further evaluations.”

Phew.
