Real Sociedad’s Elustondo And Zubikarai Combine Effortlessly To Score Beautiful Own Goal vs Barcelona (Video)

By Chris Wright

It’s not usually the smartest idea to give Barcelona a helping hand in paddling your backsides but, during last night’s Copa Del Rey semi-final first leg, Real Sociedad did just that – with defender Gorka Elustondo whittling when a loose ball fell to his feet in the box and, despite being under very little in the way of attacking pressure, firing a panicky clearance directly into goalkeeper Enaut Zubikarai and into the back of his own net…

Sociedad lost 2-0, though midfielder Jon Gaztanaga did make some giant leaps forward in his quest to develop a quick and effective way of stopping Lionel Messi in his tracks…

Flawless.
